Since time immemorial, Black women have had to deal with debilitating issues such as intersectional discrimination, microaggressions, pay disparities, limited representation, impostor syndrome, etc, while working in White spaces. These issues have been because of combined sexism and racism and they have hindered the growth of many Black women in the corporate world. In fact, many Black women are surviving instead of thriving, while some others are on the verge of giving up. I know this because I have been there. I have felt frustrated and angry because I have been made to strive hundred times more, just because of the color of my skin. As I began to push through this issues and thrive, I realized that there were other Black women like me, who needed the blueprint to thriving as a Black woman in White spaces.
